weirdly enough keep getting a ctaud2k.sys error, so my soundblaster doesn't work.
I think I have had this problem before, not sure what i have done to fix it...
so for now onboard audio or wireless headset.

You should try a schiit stack audio setup! Or see what Drop has! Bot offer ab it more than sound blaster does. Although I think sound blaster does offer game based technology, but better music quality from drop or schiit

If you are not getting good sound from your onboard audio then it must be the motherboard. I have the same motherboard ... X570 Elite WiFi and the audio is not bad. I prefer headphones so it does not matter much to me. If you are an audiophile maybe it is time for an AE-9.

What error exactly? could be driver incompatibility for Windows 11, those are pretty old sound cards, far as I know latest supported is Windows 10, usually the Win10 drivers do work on Win11 though but who knows.
