Still no sign of the replacement license code for the #Office 2019, but they did say up to 24 hours at most, so we'll see tomorrow afternoon.
Other than that, finished everything I can do on the #Ryzen 5600 build before placing it in the living room, seems stable, works well, no complaints so far.
So I played The Longest Journey again for the past few hours, I'm all the way to chapter 5 of 13, the game leans into a lot of myths and stories, nothing new about that, just saying... might continue later on⦠See More
Okay, finally got some answers from the store regarding the MS #Office 2019 license, long story short, I'm suppose to get a new license code withing the next few hours, 24 hours at most, their words, so, now I'm waiting again.
In the meantime, installed a few minor stuff I missed on the #Ryzen 5600 build and letting it run some stability, stress & performance tests, final stretch before moving it to its final location and finalizing stuff.
Still need to test some settings I did regarding sleep & hibernate⦠See More
too actually, I intend to be using this as a TV set top box replacement, which means, no full shutdowns unless after AC power loss, I've set it to automatically sleep after 4 hours and automatically hibernate after 12 hours with settings that suppose to allow wake-up from hibernation with mouse or keyboard, again, still pending some tests, but after those stability/stress/performance checks.
I would assume it was from say Microsoft themselves for the MS Office 2019 license. If not, then I assume you were given a "retail" license key which just creates the "OK" verification to give a digital license, probably to the system itself.

Well, #Ryzne 5600 build's #KODI app is all set up and working now.
Now just need to wait for that answer and solution from the store regarding the #Office 2019 license issue.
In the meantime, I'd do another once over, making sure I didn't forget to install anything and that everything is up to date, other than that, the build is ready to be moved to it's final place in the living room and be set-up to work with the TV 43" 4K TV there, which is technically a "smart" TV, but it's an Hisense running an⦠See More
outdated, non-updating VIDAA system with no working apps β
I'd rather just finish everything that can possibly be done before making the location transfer.
Well, working on getting #KODI restored and working on the #Ryzen 5600 build and still waiting for someone to answer me from the store regarding the non-working #Office 2019 license code.
I swear, that store used to be great but it gotten nearly impossible to reach a human being to get help when there are problems, I don't know why I keep buying there, except the good prices and plenty of sales and discount codes available via their Telegram channel, question is, are these worth it if it's such a⦠See More
huge hustle to get help when things go wrong... I don't know, starting to think the answer should be no.
I've now opened a chat with them twice, WhatsApp and over the website, both time went through the stupid Ai Bot and got the same result, waiting for a human being to answer and a message that they are busy with prior tickets, bla bla bla, it's nearing 24 hours since the first attempt to get help with that... *sigh*.
Well, guess it at least gives me time to finish with KODI, still annoying.
Make sure yous checks yours spams toos
