Interesting.. my VPN refused to make a proper connection on my previous W10 install after working great for years.
The upgrade to W11 didnt solve it. A complete reinstall did..
UNTILL... i installed my Avast Ultimate... appearently thr shields do refuse to ket NordVON work properly.. it does connect.. but hardly ever able to browse or stream foreign content.
Anyone else have this issue?
i use Avast One and love it
i also run with the avast vpn on and nord vpn on
havent run into any connection issues

Avast is not something I would recommend.

Insomnia is a pain. That and watching Invincible had to be done.
Avast Ultimate has its own VPN, but having the full suite will block any other VPN as part of a protection to assume that any other VPN can be used as an attack (Technically not a lie, but goes over the top for the truth).
Avast Ultimate also has a tendency to mess with the network settings which can interrupt HyperV VM. It also adds invisible priority in the connection to itself so when NordVPN connects and tells Windows to prioritize,… See More
AVAST will counter and say ignore everything else. IT IS POSSIBLE TO WORK TOGETHER however, but that requires massive tinkering.
In the I.T. business side, it is better to not use it. Personal I.T., I would suggest other avenues if you're gonna use something outside of Windows.
Also, AVG and AVAST are the same so don't consider AVG as an alternative.

Doesn't Avast Ultimate come with its own VPN and adding a secondary, would that not cause a conflict?
