well.....pre-builds right now will have a much higher chance of having a current/last gen GPU whereas a do-it-yourself custom there is no guarantee currenlty you would even be able to get a GPU to complete a build
Yep nothing more satisfying than your own build, watch plenty of you tube vids to make sure your doing everything correctly or ask a g triber if your not too confident on your first build
To be honest? I'd recommend that anyone that really wants to have a nice computer, should BUILD a computer. The process of building it / researching it, will help them understand more about how it works, and the proper way to take care of it so that it lasts as long as possible. Not to mention, a lot of prebuilt systems these days seems to cut corners on important things such as power supplies / cooling solutions, etc.
Building it yourself (after researching, and getting the opinions of your peers)… See More
should ensure that your system has the proper components to allow future upgrades, and proper equipment so nothing is lacking in power, performance or cooling.
Already told a friend to wait when they asked me last week. Even pre-builds are overpriced for the most part.

Right now I recommend them to wait a few years so GPU prices fall
