Price point, multiplayer and if it looks fun to me I normally don't even look at reviews anymore as I like some games that others seem to hate.

The thing tha motivates me to purchase the game is because I want to play the multiplayer or to help the developers in case it's singleplayer only.

If the game looks like it's awesome and going to be entertaining than I am more motivated to make a purchase. It also helps if it falls under things I'm interested in.

I watch the gameplay of the game on Youtube or Twitch.I don't really buy or play the games that I feel dizzy while playing it and feel sick afterwards, like COD and other games. If I like the game then I'd be happy to buy it when its on sale,I can't buy games above 20-30$,don't have much money.

What motivates me the most are little pices of gameplay, that let you see only as much as to awaken your interest. When these snippets were good, then I'm considering to buy the game. I make the final decision on the base of tests, reviews and my personal feeling. Oh, and the prize has to be somewhere under 30 Euros, otherwise it has to be a game, that i can't wait to play.

Motivates. A game should be perfect with graphics, engine and gameplay. If these 3 goes hand to hand with story, the game is amazing and I would buy it. I usually wait review, watch gameplays etc. Cuz nowadays pre-order is just stupid. It makes no sense

First I watch a few mintues of gameplay on twitch to see if it looks interesting. Then I'll check out the steam reviews and see how many hours people are playing it on average. If it's more than 40hrs and the reviews are mostly positive I'll get the game, but only after it goes on sale for under 30 dollars CAD.

I get very little gaming time but still like investing into decent games that tickle my fancy. So I guess my motivation comes from wanting to have an enjoyable, immersive time while gaming.
