low price and a game with long game play. not something I am going to beat in 20 hours or less. also something you can play over and over and not get board with.

To be honest it's a strong mixture of Gameplay, Optimization and Story. Mortal Combat X will certainly forfill those requirements!

The gameplay. I usually read the reviews on Steam and that influences my decisions the most. If a game has what I am looking for, then I will buy it. If it is $20+, then rather wait for some sales
