To me games are much more then a disc or file, they are a detachment from personal anxieties, a period of time in which you can relax and indulge in a beautiful experience. This is why i'm motivated to buy games; it presents me an opportunity to experience a period of bliss and ecstasy from, usual, a stressful day.

I like to spend my spare time gaming, nothing nicer than sitting down after a long day in school, getting dressed with the radiator on, a cup of tea and having a nice game of League of Legends or Heroes and Generals. Oh don't forget, the rain once you get home @_@ What really motivates me into buying a game is watching the endless things I can do within the game, not like missions for example Assassin's Creed, where once you're done the game is over. I like games where I have the world with lots… See More

of different quests where I can do what I want.

Ultimately it comes down to multiplayer vs storyline. For example battlefield call of duty has good multi player and the crysis series has an awesome storyline.

My biggest deciding factor is how open and immersive a game is, but whether or not it's moddable and how re-playable it is are close seconds!

I have a very particular taste in games...When I see something worthy of my attention, I follow its development, watch every demo video, look out for every piece of information about the game, and when it finally gets released, I watch some YouTube gameplay videos, and then decide to buy it...because my feeling is that if a game is so good that and earns my attention and money - then it deserves to be bought...for my pleasure, and the support for the developers.

I get motivated to buy a game because I feel like it would provide me with lots of fun in a short time, so that I don't have to keep playing the story to have fun but I can just mess around and have fun and then go back to other things in life

When someone likes a game, he plays it with passion, love the story and even finds himself living the feelings the storyline offers, loves to paly it with friends and multiplayer, they will surely buy the game. If they don't , oh well...
