A game hooks me to buying it not only by it's graphics, but by it's detail in the mission, or quests. I know how hard it is for those developers to come up with new ideas for games and I admire that.

being a programmer on the making , i can relate the effort they put on a single project and the willpower that is needed to work with such a large community[every part of the project to co-work] to build something...well amazing.
even before while i was still was a kid i wanted to get and play as many games as possible..its kinda just my world in there that u can get to do what you like

Obviously the quality of the various aspects of the game, but also it's very important which is the team behind the development, I buy games with the knowledge that the team will continue make games of that quality in future.
