As such, there is no ' motivation ' to purchase a game. Though, in general, I buy games to support the devs and ofcourse, enjoy the game. Though, I usually buy fps, my pc ain't so good to run new games. I just got used to them low quality settings and 20fps.. Anyway, games with awesome story, the ones which really invovle the player, and are able to establish an emotional connection with the protagonist and the player do catch my eye. I guess this is all I have, and yes, the COMMUNITY matters too.… See More

( I dislike those people who are like, " I am a PC elitist. I know everything. You are a noob so get lost.") Anyways, if anybody is reading this, I hope u have a good time out here! GTribe FTW!!!

If it appeals to a genera I like and with a good story. It's hard to find games with new and unique stories. Ingane video of gameplay helps me finalize my decision to convince friends to buy it for me.

A great deal on a game I have been waiting for or when a game looks fun to play with my friends, no matter the price in this case, but if it is a single player game I'll most likely wait for a deal.

The big thing that motivates me to purchase a game is price. I'll wait several months - potentially even up to a year or longer (as was the case with numerous games I've purchased) - to buy a game I'm interested in, if need be.

Honestly as a student, I don't have the luxury to buy games as often as I would like to, so I've grown mostly playing f2ps, that said I recently started buying older games from steam during the big sales, better late then never yeah!

I don't view games like other products, games that are well made are hard to come by, surprisingly despite the size of the industry, so I'm really picky

Motivation is knowing knowing awesome game developers get recognition (not from me alone but by sales figures speak… See More

loud it seems).

What motivates me to purchase a game us the thought of being in a completely different world and being able to live a life completely separate from your own do many things this world now does not allow you to do just the feel of being immersed into a world where you have all the power its that feel the motivates me to purchase a video game

i'ts f****** Mortal Kombat, you don't need any more motivation... for any other game, for me it's the plot and the community's opinion

I buy games that I'd like to have. I'm fan of WW 2 aircraft so I buy games that refer to aviation from that time. Simple.
