What motivates me is to see a new story and be part of that story and that story's world so i can learn a lot of things about mys elf in the process, why would i do this if the person i am in my daily life wouldnt ? how does that make me feel ?

I choose my games by how fun either the single player (or coop) campaign looks to be or how fun the multiplayer is. For example, the single player campaign in the Mass Effect series is why I have bought those games while the multiplayer in the base Battlefield series is extremely fun which is why I own them.

Honestly I rarely buy games. I usually wait until they're older and don't cost $60/game. When I do buy a brand new game I have to foresee myself playing at least that many hours and enjoying it, something that will be difficult/and or long and hopefully a good story. - Currently really looking forward to The Witcher 3.
