Hello,
well... if game is going to be a great and will provide many public positive also if it's gameplay superb and really not too many DLC's at start when game is released I will consider buying them. Otherwise I will step down.

Personally, I buy a full priced game only if it attracts me enough, either through trials or extensive review search, normally I'm not an impulse buyer but it can happen sometimes. For all others, I wait for bundles or wait half a year to a year for it's price to drop to a more affordable levels for me. Gameplay and entertainment possibilities are what I always search in one.

I usually buy the game if it dosen't have alot of DLC's announced right away after they say the Release Date of the game, because like that, you know it's going to be good game, and they won't be hungry for the moneys like the other companies when they work on the DLC and Game at the same time, and mess up the game, and there are going to be alot of bugs. You know, like the old games, they offered a full-pack game, and after a time they'd give you an Expansion pack with another hours of gameplay.… See More
I also buy the game for the plot and for the story. I love the game with an awesome story where it lets you to play. Just like the Legacy of Kain series. I loved that game and I bought it right away on GoG when they were released there.

I'd say it's from game to game different. Basicly I play 2 different types of games. Fast paced MultiPlayer type FPS's and Single Player Open World 1st and 3rd person RPG Shooter such asSkyrim, Fallout, or Far Cry. Motivation is for me good game mechanics & physics, with fairly good graphics and textures. And a story that won't make me pull out the last few hairs I have left on my head. Another aspect is that I want a game that I won't throw into a corner after half a hour gameplay... long term… See More
motivation is very important, and if it's worth playing more than once. That's what I look for when I'm looking for a new game.

The only reason i buy games is too support the creators. I even buy games which i enjoyed playing as a kid on ps1 but i had a pirated copy. I just feel like i have to support them so they will keep making great games. That's all.

I know it sounds curt, and maybe thoughtless, but honestly, if a game looks interesting to me, I'll buy it. The other motivating factor is games that are in development that I think will turn into something great. I like supporting up-and-coming games when I can. Not to mention franchises that I like. Gotta love franchises.
