Firstly, the genre then the story line and maybe graphics.

value, plain and simple. i have to have enough enjoyment to make it worthwhile. that includes having a reason to play in the first place. a good story or just the plain stress relief of blowing stuff up.

I think it's Story and Graphics. It must be playable at ultra graphics and low graphics.

For the actual motivation to BUY a game I would say price & ease of access to the media. This would of course include sale price influence & incentives such as "rewards clubs" etc etc. That is for the actual purchasing. When it comes to what motivates me to be interested in a game that's a whole other cookbook. Thanks for asking! Its good to hear companies listening to their target audience.

Storyline is the one thing that I look for in a game. I only purchase games when I'm sure that they have a great story so that it's worth my time. For me personally graphics are secondary.
