For the actual motivation to BUY a game I would say price & ease of access to the media. This would of course include sale price influence & incentives such as "rewards clubs" etc etc. That is for the actual purchasing. When it comes to what motivates me to be interested in a game that's a whole other cookbook. Thanks for asking! Its good to hear companies listening to their target audience.

Storyline is the one thing that I look for in a game. I only purchase games when I'm sure that they have a great story so that it's worth my time. For me personally graphics are secondary.

Story & gameplay. The thing that draws me to the majority of game purchases is, and always be, if the game has a decent story. Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, I've spent hundreds of hours inside these games, enjoying the tales that the game creators have weaved. From spending hours looking for & reading lore books inside Skyrim to watching & supporting Shoddycast's awesome Lore series on Youtube to get a more in-depth look at the game back stories, I enjoy… See More

Usually review/recommendations but it has to have a good story and good gameplay. Good graphics are nice but not a nesasity. Most importantly it has to be fun and engaging! Cheers and good luck everyone.

I like things to be crisp and run smooth. I also enjoy interactivity with games and making choices. Finally the game has to keep me wanting to play.
