I like things to be crisp and run smooth. I also enjoy interactivity with games and making choices. Finally the game has to keep me wanting to play.

In general for me it comes down to seeing game play videos. I need to see the game in action before I fully decide my interest. Flashy trailers are mostly useless to me. That being said I want the Witcher 3 so bad. I have 1 and 2 and they are just fantastic works of art. Geralt is one of the strongest characters in gaming.

When I see a new game that I never encounter it before, I see the game reviews, the review and the plot of the predecessor game and if it is good I will buy and play it

If I feel that the developers put their heart for making the game, then its worth the buy even tougg if its not an AAA game.

I have to like the genre I am choosing. I played WoW for 7 years but grew weary of raiding. Now I play NWN and can solo almost anything I want.

Well, with 30 years of gaming under my belt, I have developed a unique taste. If a game meets my criteria, I buy it.
