Oregon Sunstones - These gemstones were mined in the area of Plush, Oregon USA. We go out 1-2x a year to play in the sun and the dirt and when we're done we have rocks that will be crafted by tumbling or faceting into gorgeous gemstones. They have a hardness of 6.0 -6.5 on the Mohs scale. Rarer than diamonds - the colors range from clear to deep blood red, green, and rarely blues or purples as well as a watermelon effect (red center with green outer ring)..

This page is managed by Ann Ludington from United States.

I was able to have one of tbe Montana Mine owners send me a couple bag of gem ore as this stay at home situation started - while I didn't quite have all the proper screening equipment I did manage to find a few sapphires in the mix.

It was an excellent way to spend some time unwinding and relaxing.

On hold until I figure out the #giveaway tool - and it looks like it will be one single drawing I just have to figure out how many prizes one has to have to use the tool. It's telling me I don't have enough with 6 prizes.

I decided that in order to open this giveaway up to everyone that uses GTribe that I would not add one of the finished jewelry pieces to the prize (you can find one in the FB contest that is US shipping only)

The first image is all 6 prizes.

A - Amazonite Heart - Retail Value… See More

$15
B - Glass Stones - Success & Focus - Retail Value $10
C - Glass Stones - Wisdom and Persisting - Retail Value $10
D - Blue Opal cab - 4.55 grams - Retail Value $15
E - Moonstone cab - 3.62 grams - Retail Value $10
F - Oregon Sunstone - 11.4mm x 8.8mm 3.9 carats "emerald cut" - Retail Value $300

The cabbed stones and the faceted stone are ready to set into the jewelry piece of your choice utilizing the artisan of your choice. The others are perfect to carry as pocket stones or pass on to someone else that may need a pick me up.

I will cover shipping to your location - if there are any import taxes those are your responsibility. I think because they are rocks/glass that there shouldn't be but I don't know all countries import laws off the top of my head.

You should be able to click on "Add Another Prize" which is circled in the screenshot here in order to add more than one prize. You can also change it from "Grand Prize" to "First Prize" if you'd prefer to change the wording some. Hope this helps you out.

I've been trying to think of something positive I could do. I have a "few" pieces of jewelry (sterling silver) with Oregon Sunstones. I also have some loose faceted Oregon Sunstones - fb page Heliopolis Rocks as well as the Inspiration Glass Stones from - fb page Stones with Meaning

Between now and May 1st 2020 (when I was planning on closing on my building) I will be doing a drawing every week starting March 27, April 3, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, and May 1st.

That's six drawings. I'll… See More

take pictures of the items this week and post them. The deal is you're not going to know which prize you win until you open it. I think we could all use some happy surprises this week. Each package will be numbered and when your name is picked you'll pick the number.

If you win you can choose to have it mailed to you or gift someone else with the unknown present.

I need to know who's entering so you can like the post and comment on it (shares are appreciated but not required).

At this time its USA because gemstones involve customs in a lot of countries and shipping gets spendy quick. I'll figure out something for international at a later date.

This is for fun and to cheer people up a bit. There is NO purchase required but you will have to give me a mailing address if you win a prize.

Watch for the post with pictures and follow us to get updates.
