The new C64 Ultimate demo scene is turning out some cool stuff. The C64 Ultimate can run 48 times faster than the 40 year old C64 and the demo scene is using it. I would like to see CMD SuperCPU titles converted over. The SuperCPU uses a 16-bit 65C816 which adds op-codes that won't work with the 6510, which the Ultimate still uses, just 48 times faster. etc. Between 16 MB REU and the turbo modes, it opens the door for more cool stuff. However, he VICII is still a 16 color graphics chip. So it will look the same but with smoothing animation.
These FPGA systems are awesome. The Analogue 3d has an overclocking feature and CRT mode for N64 games.
