What a day so far. Had my eye test and ordered varifocal contact lenses to see if I feel they are usefull to me. Took pictures for the scaffolders to see so they bring all they need for the scaffolding around the house for the house getting a new roof and built-in solar panels at the start of next month.

I booked my car in for an MOT in a couple of weeks and now I'm going to do some gaming before I go for my first root treatment session.
Next month I'll need to renew my car insurance too!
I know it's silly, but I feel mentally drained.
Only ever had a single focus on glasses, never had contact lenses.
At this point, having had them for most of my life at age 45 I don't know if it is worth the effort trying to change either of those.
Likely an easier adjustment out of necessity going from not having them, to having them.
Rather than changing what I have.

Let me know how those work out. Bifocal glasses take time to get used to, and a few years later I'm still fighting wearing them. I need them 100% for reading, seeing the PC, phone, etc. I just still hate them.
I never could get used to progressive lens.

Not silly, I feel that way often too, from a lot less than what you describe, hell, bureaucracy alone can drain a person mentally. Have fun gaming man, hope it helps you recharge somewhat.
