Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a market leader in cloud computing service providers, although it has its own share of flaws, and one of them came into public attention with the Amazon AWS Outage that started yesterday, and is just starting to recover.
Our core services [GTribe, Beacon MAX and BEAM] are only modestly exposed to AWS, and only through third party APIs and/or services.
I didn't know about this until I tried to make my car payment earlier today. My Credit Union uses AWS for Payment, Call Service, and Loan Applications.
