Claire and I were supposed to go to Edinburgh yesterday evening for a nice meal and a show we were looking forward to (no tickets needed).
Got a taxi to the train station and found the train had been cancelled, followed by the next one. They couldn't tell us when the next train would be because it was a signal fault.
