An old debt of my dad came surfacing... yay.. still not done paying for the cremation, 990 Euro's left to pay and another 1330 Euro's extra on top of that... worked out a payment plan for it with chunks of 250 Euro's a month for 5 months and then the last payment the rest + interest.

I know the feeling. Mom's is going to cost me around $2K. I am struggling to find the money.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. My wife and I went through the same thing when her mom passed. After what we went through, we decided to donate our bodies so that no one, including ourselves, had to pay for us die. It makes no sense. Good thoughts to you and yours during this difficult time.
