For nearly ten years we have relied on the CDN services of Cloudflare to provide our video uploads, playback and static cache services.

A power outage at their data centers in Oregon has taken down all of their API services. Therefore, as of this moment, videos previously uploaded to GTribe are inaccessible - and uploading videos to GTribe is impaired.

This outage has also impacted some of the key services available for the BEAM closed beta and a few Beacon MAX features.

Services are expected to be restored later today.

Going by the videos recorded to Cloudflare when it was working previously. It was handling the streams very well and smooth. It's just the live stream on BEAM and chat I had issues with viewing in Real-time with random pauses and chat not refreshing.

Overall hopefully they get it all fixed again soon, wohooo

The good news is, this is an uncommon situation that will rarely happen.
Once I had several servers in a facility that had an explosion and fire. Thankfully I had backups and could re-launch everything in another facility the next day.

Shouldn't they have off-state backup servers?

Cloudflare stated:
"We operate in multiple redundant data centres in Oregon that power Cloudflare’s control plane. There was a regional power issue that impacted multiple facilities in the region. The facilities failed to generate power overnight. Then, this morning, there were multiple generator failures that took the facilities entirely offline.”
