On Beacon we’ve renamed Groups to Chats.
Most of our users did not realize that Beacon also supports persistent private messaging with reaction icons, and uploading of images, videos, audio and documents.

So far, I haven't had a chance to check for Groups or now Chats beyond 1, but I can certainly believe that the room calls have so far worked so much better than contact ones when it comes to setting up.
What bugs me is you can't send a link to someone using a phone if they don't have beacon because if its sent to where they get it in gmail or fb messenger, the internal page opener opens it instead of a regular browser which breaks it making me have to tell them to copy the link and bring it to another… See More
window. If its text message, it seems to work fine.

I agreed to the WhatsApp terms. At the same time I also downloaded Telegram and thinking of switching. Maybe Beacon is also a solution. I didn't realize. Luckily in the European Union we have privacy laws that restricts those terms. But still, bad Facebook!
