Found this site when a contest link popped up in my newsfeed on that book of faces page. Came here for the giveaways but kept coming back and supporting the community ever since because of how awesome the people and the community as a whole are. Instead of arguing over our petty differences, folks here embrace them and accept them and any negativity that may be experienced is quite quickly squashed by the amazing GTribe staff and volunteers who are always looking out for folks.

a few run-ins with negative folks and, while I'm quite capable of handling it myself, I've found that the amazing folks that bear the Centurion logos or the staff logos by their names are often faster on the draw than me to defend folks and keep things as positive as possible for everyone.
If I'm ever feeling down or negative, I can always come here for a good dose of positive vibes and fun!
Welcome to the Tribe EKWB! I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as the rest of the community and our awesome sponsors!

Difficult to say exactly how I feel about GTribe, I mean you join a "social media for gamers/techies" expecting to join a social media for gamers/techies and being surprised with something much more.
The first people to contact me were Alex Anderson and Erwin Klein Haneveld , to be honest without these two pushing me and challenging me I wouldn't be where I am. I think the following is truer than anything else, what sets us apart from the rest of the world is the people, we hardly have any negative/… See More
salty people, we help where we can even if it's only to give a shoulder to cry on.
This place is and will remain something to experience...an awesome experience at that

I started out friending this fellow on Facebook named Angel Munoz. I remember him from about a decade before when the CPL and CAL were around (the front edge of e-sports, of course) who told me a few little things about a social media idea he had, based around gamers, gaming and tech. I was hooked at that point. LOL. a little more than a month later, GTribe began, and I joined (by invitation) immediately. I spent the first few months exploring, chatting folks up, making friends and… See More
sharing my own knowledge with others. Eventually, I was asked if I'd like to join the Community Volunteer Team, to which, I of course, said yes! From there, when the CVT was dissolved (bad fortune for a lot of us, due to poor behavior by one) I was invited to become a NEW type of Volunteer...I was one of the Original Centurions. My favorite thing is seeing folks winning (Games, peripherals, components and full rigs). I'd love to win one, but I am just as happy to see others win them. I've been fairly lucky in baing able to afford my own computer habit (just bought myself a new rig for Christmas...my very first Ryzen!) I still offer help to any who ask, and due to a pretty busy life/work schedule, I limit my activities to keeping an eye on things here and of course, helping out any who ask. I was one of those who worked with #TheAwesomeOne , Erwin Klein Hanevald, when he was still with us, sending parts (Ram, GPUs, and such) out to those who had a need. Paying it forward, as it were. I have won a few items here and there in my 5 years here, including last year winning a very nice EVGA 750 G2L fully modular PSU. So I am happy.
Meeting new people, and the joy of helping out those who need it has always been my mindset. I surpassed my # of FB friends within the first couple of months on GTribe and never looked back. I just try to be a nice and good person, and be as helpful as I can...and the response I get is ALWAYS positive! THAT'S Why I love this place. It is my second home and my full, loving and extended family.
