Today my family lost a proud man! A man of principles and values. A man who was born and raised during WW2 with all the shortages of the time. A man who lived through a civil war and a man who fell so deep in love with the sea that lived most of his life with her.

doing it. He was called reckless by many but still, he was my hero.
He tought me how to be proud but not selfish or egoistic. He tought me the Golden rule and he made sure I understood its meaning.
He was a father of three and grandfather of three. He was wise and very experienced.
He will be missed.
I wish you always sail in calm seas with a bright blue sky above you Dad, even though I know you loved to sail at night and have the stars as a guide! Bon Voyage Captain!
many condolences John he looks like a very proud & respectable man

Just know my family and I have you and yours in our prayers for now and hope you have nothing but good fortune and memories with your father and his next step.… See More
