curious, just noticed my radeon hd7700 has dvi, hdmi and display port. up till now i'v only been using hdmi to my tv and dvi to a little monitor, would i be able to use all three ports with extended display settings? also which would be better quality? i'v never used display port so i don't know a thing about it yet either

was looking to buy either a converter adapter to switch the hdmi output from my pc to vga to go to my tv or possibly dvi to vga if that would give a better quality image on… See More

the tv...now noticing the display port im curious if i should get an adapter converter from that to either dvi for the monitor or hdmi or vga to my tv...

any info, links to articles or suggestions would be much appreciated

Quality-wise they should be pretty similar.
Though some interfaces might support larger resolutions or refresh rates that others do not.
So just bear that in mind if looking at larger resolution or higher refresh rate displays.
The page for your card, or the documentation for it should tell you what those are.

No you can't it's a limitation of those cards that you can only use 2 of the ports at once.

Display port is better than HDMI, HDMI is better than DVI.
