I buy a game when it's on a bundle or a good sale. But sometimes I buy it in the pre purchase, depends of my hype about the game.

The main thing that motivates me to buy a game is an interesting cooperative online mode! For example i happily bought Diablo 3, but i`m not going to buy Witcher

Every month or two I go on steam and click that "wish list" button for any game I think I like the look of. Sometimes I even look at my wish list and see a game just to think "what on earth was I thinking?" Truth is a buy when I can because... I can.

First of all, the gameplay itself makes me want to buy the game. The story is just the second. When I enjoy the gameplay, usually the storyline of the game is awesome. Of course, before buying a game, I usually look at its gameplay videos (or trailers) first so that I know if the storyline and its graphics are good.

Boredom motivates me to get a game, as getting a new game kills the boredom and allows me to delve into a new game meet a new community related to that game and enjoy myself.

What motivates me is that i am doing Games Development and i like to test out all different games to get feel how they are also because games are one that that keeps you connected to and increases your chances of get to know more people around the world.
Also to play with friends who like games and keeps me happy.
