What I look for mostly when purchasing a game is the detail and depth of the story. If that cannot be found; I then proceed to check out different mechanics which might shine despite the lack of content. If so, they'll make the game enjoyable and will be considered as money well spent nonetheless.

What I'd consider as an "instabuy", would be where I'm following a game through its beta stage, and the developers build up the final product version based on what the players want to experience in the official… See More

version the most, thanks to the developers accepting and working on feedback.

I only purchase games that have many hours of exploration and play.

I hate paying top dollar for a game that I can finish in under 10 hours. Does not seem worth it to me.

If I pay $50-100 for a game, it better keep me entertained for a few weeks at minimum.

The storyline motivates me the most when it comes to buying a game. But the gameplay quality and time, and also the graphics play an important role too when it comes to choosing a game over other.

It is to reward people who made the game I love, the game in which I have great time and fun, and I'm not regretting those countless hours wasted on it. ^^
