It has to have a good story line and good mechanics... Ill take a not so great graphics with really good story line over beautiful graphics and crappy story with horrid mechanics... Lol.(witched games never disappoint!).

The gameplay has to be interesting because no matter how good the plot of a game is, if the gameplay is atrocious then it won't really work. Balance is essential.

I usually look at the story line and graphics, and i like stealth type games.

It must be of the right genre that I like, I have I good desktop and a fantastic laptop. I want to push them to their limits, so It must be a game that looks good. Price also makes a difference. And it must have a campaign mode. I don't have enough time for online gaming very often.

When buying a game I always look for solid game-play and a great sounding story-line, its all about the singleplayer for me. Then if I can afford it I check to see what everyone else thinks of the game, and if its positive I buy it!
