What motivates me basically is what I've heard of the game, how hyped I've already been for it, and the price. If I've heard a game is good and it's decently priced or on sale I'll definitely buy it.

Actually for myself I bt the game first and play it for a while or maybe finish the whole game and if I love the game I dont care how expensive it is Im just going to buy it. Like Boarderland2 I finish this game in every mode like the ultimate hunter and all the dlc I love this game very very much so I just bought it from steam.
