Quality and respect, both from the fans and the DEVELOPER/PUBLISHER.

Looking at you Activision/Ubisoft. (They don't respect us)

I usually only buy games that have good or interesting game play mechanics. It is good for a game to have a great story or look great, but without good game play mechanics it is just another story.

Immersion - The ability to transport myself into the story or the ability to make my own. I'll purchase a game for this. Whether or not I enjoy it is another kettle of fish entirely.

Depends on the game.
Story/Graphics/Online mode (if there is any).
I bought Skyrim because I liked their story/graphics combo (A fan of TES as well).
I bought Warcraft III because I wanted to play online DotA.
I bought Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 because of the online mode.
I bought NFS : Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon because I was in need of speed (almost a pun there).
Right now, price plays quite a big factor there, if I believe that the game deserves it I will gladly pay (If my pc can handle… See More

it of course)
Thank you for the giveaway

A good game at the right price. If it's single-player, story is a big focus and depending on the type of game, re-playability is a bonus. If it's multiplayer, whether or not my friends are getting it is pretty important!

Mostly gameplay. If I really like the style/looks of it, I would buy it. I have been searching for a game that is similar to one of my favorite games of all time and if it even hints of being similar, then I'll buy it.

Firstly plot, then gameplay. If a videogame is able to catch my mind with a decent and tangled plot it will be a must buy to me (indeed the gameplay could even be a story driven ).

The game itself has to have a great storyline, good gameplay, and great reviews

Well, I'm not fan of graphics quality (yes, I'm quite weird). Mostly, playing with friends. If I have a good time playing with them, they tell me about the game, I'm attracted to it (even watching playthroughs), then, I buy it. I save for thinghs I'd like to bough, from mice, to pcs, including smartphones and games. But firstly, I have to save
