Just helped my buddy finally make the jump to PC gaming, Told him It was definitely the wrong time to build with how the market has been going but he got a raise at his work, recently sold his car, so he told me he didn't care. So I asked him what he liked the look of, showed him many options. He went with a white themed build, so I got to work ordering the parts. This was my first AM5 build with a RTX 5080.

This build was a lot of fun, he actually picked out the case, I really loved the look and… See More

the function, Also, AMAZING to build in. It has the ability to have 4 - 360mm Rads if he ever wanted to water-cool it. He ended up declining because of maintenance and he didn't want to jump into something that needed a lot of work to maintain, I don't blame him lol. What ya'll think of this build? Also only my second white build I've put together. Total Cost of build, $3500 (Ram and SSD was borrowed from me, told him will buy a better faster set of ram and a bigger SSD once the market comes back down to the planet)

P.S I was blown away at the performance; 9800x3d with a RTX 5080, and 32gb DDR5. MAN its legit 2x more faster then my current main build....I thought the 3090ti would last longer then this but.....I'm now thinking about saving for a 5080..... (a 5090 is just UNREAL to even think of buying.....there like 6k here.)

Well, decided to tackle the rgb problem with my rig, was only able to get the GPU block rgb strip, next time I service the loop ill attempt the res/pump rgb, The rgb effect isn't as good without the mystic fog coolant, but just couldn't afford it this time around so, basic clear coolant will do......Both the GPU block and the cpu block were clean when I took them apart, even cleaned the jet plate before putting everything back together. But when I bled the new coolant,… See More

it seemed the rads were very clogged and it clouded the clear coolant again, but seems to be ok so far. Also added New Thermal Grizzly Duronaut Thermal Paste, changed the front rad to a push/pull by adding 2 more fans. After everything seems I dropped my temps by almost 18 degs.

First time working on my PC in my new shop

Finally someone managed to mod in VR support to Forza Horizon 6, SO amazing. Changes the entire feel of the game, I waited SO many years for someone to mod The Crew into VR, but it never happened. Track games of course were great but this is the first time driving around in an open world car game in VR.

Its been a very long time, but wanted to give my editing skills a test, see if i still know how to....I'm a bit rusty but I like how it turned out.
Its crazy, its been nearly 8 years since my last edit, one thing crossed my mind, I never tried an edit with my current rig (the reason why I built it with its current platform) and my gawd, I remember my last edit, my old PC took almost an hour to render, then almost 2 hours to export, this edit, (even though its under 3 min) took 48 seconds to render,… See More

and literally a minute to export.
