Had to get a new case to fit the new card   Finally got everything transplanted over. This gives me the excuse to build something else in my empty one

I’m hoping to fit my new card in here   It’s the GIGABYTE AERO OC 5070 Ti, which is 340mm long. When I use a tape measure it reads at around 13 3/8 inches from radiator to the rear of the case (which is 339.725mm   ). The card should be ready to pickup at Best Buy tomorrow or Wednesday so we’ll see soon. If it doesn’t fit, my plan is to shift the radiator onto the opposite side of the removable mount it’s currently installed on. I’ll update when I find out

My GPU got real close to the front panel glass with the verticle backplane. The thumb screws that secure the GPU at the front are only about an inch from the glass. So if I do look into upgrading from the 3080ti, I can't go any longer. It sure looks cool taking up that space, though. Just floating there.

Feels as if I'm endlessly waiting on a 5080 at my set budget of $1200 (before tax) or less to show up in stock at the closest MicroCenter to me. My PC feels lifeless without a GPU since I sold my previous card to fund a 50 series lol. I could've sold it after buying the new card but I got an offer I couldn't pass up. The MicroCenter I live closest to is a little over an hour drive so they would have to have at least 4-5 in stock of a SKU I'm interested in by the time I left to feel comfortable making… See More

it in time. Hopefully, soon

I've been watching, noticed Newegg had a 5090 in stock for a couple hours yesterday, although not going to get one of those. I'm still debating whether to even get an Nvidia card. But decided to slap together a rig to play older games with PhysX if I do. 3080ti I have in my main rig is still very useful, though. But there's a chance Nvidia could drop PhysX by way of drivers that'll effect all currently supported GPUs. So I keep that in mind too.
