if you're competitive you can go that route or play casually. League has well over 70 million players and at least 27 million play each day. The League Esports scene has exploded in the last few years and now just as many viewers watch it online and there's countless streamers.
It's brought people together across the world and crossed cultural and country borders and introduced complete strangers to each other. There's been people that met and got married through League Of Legends and it's also introduced something never before seen. The Tribunal which allowed players to help police the community and set standards of common behavior.
The system has evolved and now has changed the champ select to make it easier to select a champion as well as play with friends. Grouping with friends is easier and there's so much you can do.
What nice about Tribunals creation is it's put in a sense of expected behavior online and now other gaming companies are doing the same to reduce online toxicity and improve players game time enjoyment.
What's amazing is the similarities between what Leagues become and what GTribe is doing both are communities that bring people together and both are trying to create communities that are friendly and highly social.
