Led by the US government? Ahhh another Yellow Man with Terrible Wig Venture... no thanks I'll pass. I'd rather give my money to that poor Nigerian prince... he's got a better reputation.

It's not so much a choice or option, it's the way that the US Government plans to 'save' the dollar and take what little value and earnings your currency has left away from you. i suspect that it will not be an overnight event (such as the 1933 gold illegal to own, the 1971 off the gold standard, 1974 petrodollar creation, etc.), but rather a slow takeover that goes largely unnoticed until it's a fait accompli. And has been said before, over and over again about various currencies, crypto or not.
To me, at a quick glance the companies backing it seem to be in finance/banking.
The backing is done by mostly by those who hold and move money around, not those doing the spending.

Only problem is, this is not a good thing for your freedom or your wealth.

In real life, real time, welcome to your new life akin to one in Snowpiercer, Elysium, The Hunger Games, In Time, Parasite, The Platform, High-Rise, Metroplis (1927), and A Tale of Two Cities. Coming to your life before you realize it has happened, by ever so slowly changing things until one day you awaken, asking 'How did we get here?' Of course, many will simply be born to it, never knowing what they never had.

wow   ......... sounds like a promising project!

Especially when You consider the increasing adoption (usage) of crypto-currencies by cca 100% every year (especially in all those automated processes in the industry........ and the automation is still increasing , with all those small_models and specialized A.I. agents filling the *gaps* - where a deterministic simple decision-making algorithm / code / program_routine is just not enough).
