Viewer Clipping 2.0 is officially live on BEAM, and this is a major upgrade for both creators and viewers.
You can now clip moments from live streams without leaving the stream or losing your place. Just tap the Clip button, select a segment between 10 and 60 seconds, add a title, and the clip is generated within seconds. Shortly after, you are notified when the downloadable file is ready so you can post it anywhere. All downloaded clips include a BEAM watermark, helping creators gain visibility wherever their content travels.
This release also empowers streamers. Creators can download clips made by viewers during their live streams, and all clips are now organized under Videos & Clips for easy access and reuse.
What this really unlocks is momentum. Viewers become active participants in amplifying great moments, creators gain organic reach beyond the stream, and the community helps surface the best content in real time.
Coming soon, we will introduce a clip management interface in Studio so creators can moderate, hide, or rename viewer-created clips, ensuring full control over how their content is represented.
Mobile note: clip downloads are not yet available on the iOS and Android apps, but updates are already in progress.
This is another step forward in building tools that put creators and communities first. If you are live on BEAM, your moments no longer stay confined to the stream — they move.
