Took Junior on a retro adventure, right into the 16-bit world of Dyna Blaster!
He loved the power-ups, the boss fights, the chaos… and he couldn’t believe I used to save progress using handwritten passwords in a notebook.

If you’re into old-school charm or father–child gaming moments, I just posted a full review on my Substack.

As for typing in passwords to "save" progress by skipping to a certain level, Lemmings was one I remember that for.
Played the MS-DOS version at school.
Were a few games I played a lot around that time on a Windows 95 laptop.
Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker being another I remember well, alongside ofc the default installed Solitaire, Minesweeper, Hearts and Freecell.
