grrr new Asus TUF gaming laptop I see has this update but when I go to remove updates list this update is not listed to remove   tried Microsoft's removal tip using DSIM remove package in Command Prompt but that failed   so now what? wait for my 1TB ssd to disappear & get corrupted....   I REALLY do NOT like Windows 11 SMH

Yeah, I like his analogy there.
Spin the wheel of c**p and see what you get.
You never know if things will work or break for no obvious reason.
By no means limited to Microsoft products, but they are notorious for it during the last few years particularly in my opinion.
