It's so beautiful and relaxing here. But, why can't my brain let me enjoy it 100%?
One of the farm cats came up the stairs to our treehouse. It's called Marmalade. It jumped onto my lap and I gave it much affection (as did Claire when I moved her there). It was a beautiful moment in a perfect evening where Claire and I drank Champagne as we watched the sun go down. Yet, I feel sad. Why? People all over the world are so worse off than me but I have the audacity to feel… See More

sad when I have all I wanted as a child. I'm not rich by any means (I'm a postman or goodness sake) yet I can't complain about bills because Claire has a great job (pay-wise).
Depression is not just having a bad day. It's when you are having the best day and still want to jump from a beautiful treehouse, hoping you will end it all.
So, if you have a good life, but have a bad day, don't equate it to depression.
Having a bad day is just your lucky way of showing you that the rest of your life is awesome.
