What really scares me the most about the future, I would argue is the potential of losing control of my mental faculties. And for whatever reason it happens, I don't want a future where I control little, to nothing of my day to day activity, or care.
Though losing internet access got such a dramatic response from one of my nephews previously. Priorities can change through life. The quite mundane and unimportant can see much more important when you are younger.
Depends on how I experience my new reality.

I'd say 1 and 3 could be construed as being one and the same, depending on the person.
