a year ago I bought this chair from Staples for $179. I wanted a mesh chair because I get hot in the summer and thought it would keep me cooler.

When I was purchasing it, the person at the check-out said.
"You should buy the 3 year warranty for $20. because you are going to need it in a year."
Usually I decline whenever someone tries to upsell me on a warranty. But I could tell she was being totally honest. So I bought the warranty.

Sure enough, after a year, the mesh bottom has stretched out so much… See More

that I sink to the frame underneath and it is really uncomfortable.

I made the warranty claim, sent a few photos and within a couple hours got a notice that a check is coming for $179.

Glad I got the warranty. Now I just need to find a chair that is not crap without spending a silly amount of money.

I figured you'd have a baked-potato-bean-bag chair by now...

why not buy the same chair with warranty? I mean if it was good till it wasnt then rinse and repeat. What I really want is those 1000 hour chairs that dispatchers use with mesh backs. Their very expensive though and way out of my price range.
