Being not too ‘tech savvy’ & older style, I have been amazed at the quality and smoothness of operation , particularly if compared all other current platforms. ‘Beacon MAX ‘ excels

Being an older tech guy, I've had the pleasure (and displeasure sometimes) of having tried various video conferencing apps. Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, Facetime, Telegram, and a number of others that I have forgotten. Beacon MAX , in my opinion, offers more services than anything I have previously had the experience of using. And if the other apps had the same capabilities, they were either hidden or not intuitive in the least.

Beacon feels extremely intuitive, and it only took me a few minutes… See More

to figure out how to share web pages, or other documents with friends, and to be completely honest, the first BIG use of Beacon I had was playing D&D with some friends when I was under quarantine due to exposure to Covid-19 and unable to travel. Combine Beacon with D&D Beyond and I was able to share my character sheets, documents, dice rolls, all through Beacon and it was fantastic, thus bringing some joy to my quarantine period so I could feel a bit 'social'.

Call me picky, but those options aren't equal. The opposite of "better" should be "worse", otherwise the first option should be "much better" to equal the opposite of "much worse".

That said, it's hard to argue that the video quality of Beacon MAX isn't fantastic, although I've not had much opportunity to make use of it.

I do recall having issues with voice input and having just tested this again, I'm still having issues. I don't find cycling through various inputs and outputs particularly helpful… See More

or intuitive either. A dropdown would be clearer, easier, and more efficient to use.

I don't trust Zoom. Beacon MAX is a worthy competitor for Teams and the likes. Come-on and give it a try, You will love it ! 👍🔥💯🙂💯🔥👍

Zoom makes me feel dirty, Beacon MAX like I just stepped out of the shower.

Various methods for meetings, easier, faster, less bandwidth consumption for better quality, lighter of course and less connection issues tbh.

The quality, clarity and audio is superb. Even when you are piggy backing a video call to over 500 peeps was still awesome.

My job uses teams, but only the chat and one drive storage part.
I've never use the others!! back in the day, idk! lol...

still sadly if Megan ever video calls me, she uses the one built into the phone... or the FB messenger one.   I tried!!!

But if I ever hear the owner or HR guy crying about Teams or Zoom, I'll tell them about Beacon MAX!!!

Helped roommate to use Beacon MAX to talk with her son, she said it was crystal clear, no stuttering, no lagging, no grainy video as her experience was with zoom.
