RPGs is a genre that predates the days of video games being detailed, complex media; a genre that hearkens back to roots in P&P that required a group of players (or at least a couple).
While there are certainly lots of RPGs that offer a multiplayer mode, this is often little more than a combat system feature. Many of the best RPGs out there are solo experiences or there is little to no impact on the plot for having multiple players.
So, my question to you:
Is an RPG video game better suited to the… See More
single-player or multiplayer experience?
I am always for solo RPG, because I like and sometimes can play for hours, and sometimes I can't wait for someone else to join. In many cases I like to enjoy solo gaming, where I can do things the way I like.
