OK... just setting up for streaming. Which one should I use streamlabs or OBS?

I think my new computer is 'OK' for streaming at Bream for multistream.
Scared to stream.

Yeah, I used to be like that, if you would have told me a year ago that I'd be live streaming, not to mention semi regularly, I'd tell you you were out of your mind, yet, here I am, streaming since around November 2024, on and off, mostly on, just ignore the background noise and have fun while trying to interact with chatters as much as you can. And most importantly, try and just be yourself.

I also vote for OBS.

I use OBS, bit of a learning curve at first but with the right plug-ins it's absolutely great.

Streamlabs is OBS but a heavily modified fork and a tad behind in terms of updates and tech. The main benefit is you can setup your alerts and have it all in one place but the plug ins add a lot of bloat imo. You can add a browser source in obs and link it to your alerts without needing a mess of ui.
TLDR: learn OBS. SLOBS is just an outdated fork of OBS and it's better to just dive in and test things out.
It's daunting at first but you won't need to adjust many options and there's a million tutorials… See More
and plug ins to do everything you could ever want.
