Is it just me or has Rocket League rankings been getting worse and worse as time goes by? literally in 2 days I've down-ranked from Shooting Star Division II to Challenger Elite Division III in consecutive matches, all lost by 3 or 4 goals, with my team either scoring 1 goal, or 3 (leading to the other team's 4th goal).
Not just that but the weird thing is, that if I choose to literally "stand back" and pretty much not play or get touches etc, we end up scoring goals.

supporting role rather than playing attack or defence, simply because I've been let down too many times (so I play mostly defensive) but nearly 80% of the time if I'm not next to goals the other team scores, because my teammates seem to not be able to hit the ball away; however if I try to dribble, someone on my team smashes it up the pitch, meaning we lose the ball.
This seems to have happened in most of the matches in the past 2 days, and it's irritating because my teammates seem to smash the ball and no-one chases, so it comes back our side, but I'm kinda scared to move out otherwise we concede a goal (due to teammates). I need to also note that if I center the ball and it's open, they're all the way down the other side of the field collecting boost or waiting in goals because they think it's coming back... well it is now...
