Launched on January 29, 2014, GTribe® is a social media community for tech enthusiasts and PC gamers, firmly founded on the principles of privacy, security and freedom from advertising. GTribe's Music Player (for UX and LUX members) was not working due to a backend server issue that disrupted our audio streaming services. As a result, client requests to play music could not be fulfilled, causing the player, to fail, skip tracks on playlists, or remain unresponsive.
This issue has been addressed.
We’ve just released yet another update to the GTribe app for iOS.
This update squashes a random bug that was preventing links from opening on certain devices running the latest version of iOS.

We are excited to share some great news with the GTribe community.
The new search engine has now been fully rolled out. Searches for statuses and comments will now prioritize more recent results, making it easier and faster to find the latest content that matters to you.
In addition, our new video upload system has been completed. Uploads under 500MB, which represent 95% of all uploads over the past 12 months, have received a turbo-boost and can now reach speeds of up to 200 Mbps. This means significantly faster uploads for the vast majority of our members.
We have also added video upload support for AV1 codec. This cutting-edge technology allows you to take full advantage of the latest advancements in video compression.
These improvements reflect our team's ongoing commitment to delivering a faster, smarter, and more enjoyable experience for our global community.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
In 2019, Angel Munoz and Kat Silberstein introduced a groundbreaking concept that captivated the GTribe community — DEFIANT. These limited-edition custom PCs were designed to deliver exceptional performance and build quality, offered at cost to our community.
In October 2024, we revealed that Angel had partnered with a new system integrator to design a next-generation line of DEFIANT PCs. Today, we are excited to share that the new DEFIANT specifications are finalized, and the new system integrator is Alexander PCs.
