Battles take place not between dozens of troops, but thousands; with air and ground vehicles slugging it out alongside squads of troops. Whether in open fields, tightly packed urban centers or enormous structures, planning, teamwork and communication are essential.
PlanetSide 2 features incredible continent maps with dozens of square kilometers of seamless gameplay space; every inch of which is hand-crafted, contestable space. With the territorial control meta-game, landmass has intrinsic value.
Why? Great community. 1000 ways to play so you can find a role that suits your likes and style.
Why? Only 12 fans?!? Wow.... Shocked. Great game, always new experiences. Not repetitive, lots of different ways to approach gameplay.something for everyone to enjoy.
Why? A very demanding game, but it brings a lot of joy!
Why? Large scale battles, although the frustration is high during zerg times where you can't even be in any vehicles without getting blown up or just shot from every corner. But it's largly up to you to place yourself smart, if you keep dying when trying to exit your spawn, stop trying. I promise the game… See More
will be more enjoiable once you just get past that vengance mood and choose something fun instead.
Why? To me pvp is the perfect game, its new every time. Even if we fight over the same terrain, the fight is always different. When you throw in 2000 people at once....ANYTHING can and will happen.
Why? Large scale battles of hundreds fighting each other at any give moment. Battles feeling scripted, but are never scripted. Everything you and your squad/platoon does effects your empire, and the outcome of the battle. And with a well organized outfit you can take the world by storm. Plus its free so why… See More
not.
Why? i run a tactical outfit on connery server... the community... the outfits... the cohesion required to take territory against uneven populations... nothing like being a single squad holding off multiple platoons of players... because, well thats planetside
Why? So open world, and at times just fun to play no matter what your FPS skill level is.
Why? I am not usually one for FPS games, But Planetside 2 brings so much more than 16 player death matches. The level of tactical thought needed to be more than the 'Zerg' is a refreshing boost to the playability of the game. Besides, rocket launchers, Tanks and Aircraft? Whats not to like!
