They have vastly improved them with Windows 10. I have the Surface 3 and it's actually rather easy to use, especially since I can use it as a laptop or just go into tablet mode.

I would be ok with them if they had the power of the desktop that the OS and programs are made for. Google Chrome for instance running on a desktop / laptop is fine, or the app version on a phone is fine, but the tablets just do not seem to have the resource pool to handle that. That is not even mentioning something like Outlook (which the mobility of the tablet would be great for the corporate world on the go).
