They even admit it is an AI filter on a 2d image, only with temporal vectors, basically advance knowledge of the directionality. So really isn't doing all that much that many mobile phones aren't doing already, at least at a basic level. There is the possibility it could develop into something better, like Ray Tracing and DLSS did after horrible starts. But you shouldn't buy on a promise, buy on results.

idea at this point. They have no competition really from AMD, so I don't see the need to rush this out, and they have IMO done more harm than good with it, not that it will have any tangible effect where it matters.
To be fair, the first door is the responsibility of the developer. Just because Nvidia can make 💩 look like fancy 💩, doesn't mean developers have to produce 💩, fancy looking or not.
Which is - in my opinion - something completely different than their latest unnatural AI filter.
