Ohhh, I fixed it hehe. I just went into recovery mode, loaded up 1 kernel below and forced an update/upgrade. Everything is working fine now! I just had to sleep on it and look at it with fresh eyes I guess haha.

Good you have such robust recovery options.
Windows is making some improvements recently, but IMO is still severely lacking there.
