So, as embarrassing as it is, every OTHER computer in my house, from my computer, my daughters laptop, my wifes computer, and my laptop are all on Linux. BUT my NAS has still been on Windows... With the Agentic AI garbage coming from Microsoft I am finally going to fully swap OFF from it and onto TrueNAS. I have a 2TB nvme drive I will be putting into it for a cache drive as well. While I dislike all the AI stuff, I'll continue to use Windows 11 and see where it all goes. It's something I've always done, anyway, as I still do some consulting occasionally, and good to stay up to date. I do have Linux set up as well on a spare i7 6700 machine. Sometimes even game on it. As RTX 5800 kinda sucks with older games, depends on the totle, though. With 20 actual cores, sometimes unloading PhysX to the CPU is a good thing.

I'll be building a DIY TrueNAS build as soon as i get the parts. I am yet to try this new TrueNAS Community Edition on the VM first.
